The knee doesn't give out on the run. It gives out on the turn.

  • The ache starts sideways the split-step, the reach wide, the push back to centre
  • You're fine for the first game and thinking about the knee by the third
  • A sleeve compresses the whole joint but does nothing for the sideways load
  • Foam-pad braces feel supportive for twenty minutes, then pack down and slide
  • You're not injured enough to stop playing, so you just play less

From bracing the whole knee → to supporting the one direction it actually gets loaded.

Most knee gear compresses front to back. Court sport loads the knee sideways, hundreds of times a session. FlexCare™ sits the airbag pad under the kneecap and anchors it with a side strap, so the support is where the movement is and the ribbed grip keeps it there once you're sweating.

  • Contoured airbag pad

Sits over the kneecap and disperses the sideways pressure of a pivot instead of letting it concentrate on one point. Holds its shape across a full session rather than compressing flat like a foam insert.

  • Side stabiliser strap

Anchors the pad against lateral movement, so the support doesn't shift off-centre when you push off sideways. Adjustable to, so tension is yours to set.

  • Ribbed inner grip

Textured inner surface holds against skin as it gets damp, which is what stops the slow slide down the shin that makes most braces useless by game three.

Same knee. Same pivot. Different load path.

Drag to see where the pressure goes once the pad is doing its job.

      4.8/5 rated 10,580+ pickleball players

"Third brace I've bought this year and the first one that's still where I put it at the end of open play. The others would creep down my shin by the second game and I'd be reaching down to yank it back up between points. This one just sits. That's the whole review."

      Dave R.

"I'm 5'2" and most of this stuff is built for men with tree trunks for legs. Cinched it down to about the middle of the strap and it's snug without cutting in. Been wearing it for doubles twice a week since March."

      Marianne K.

"Comfortable enough that I forget it's on during squats and step-ups. Only knock is I wish the strap were about two inches longer for wearing over joggers in winter — over bare skin it's perfect. Docking a star for that, not for the support."

      Robert T.

"Bought it for pickleball, ended up wearing it down Bright Angel. The descents are what get me and having something under the kneecap made the last two miles a lot less of a negotiation. Now it lives in the daypack."

      Jim & Carol S.

"Was about to buy a $12 sleeve off Amazon instead. Glad I didn't a sleeve squeezes the whole knee and does nothing for the part that actually hurts when I push off sideways. Different tool for a different job. Would've saved myself the $12 if I'd worked that out first."

      Anthony P.

"Four months of twice-weekly league and the velcro still grips like day one. I hand wash it and lay it flat like the card says I've killed a brace in a washing machine before and wasn't doing that twice."

      Denise W.

      FAQs

      Collapsible content

Will it slide during a long session?

The ribbed inner grip is designed to hold as the skin gets damp. If it does move, tension the side strap one notch tighter rather than the main closure.

      Is this a medical device?

No. FlexCare™ is a supportive brace intended for comfort and stability during activity. It is not a treatment for any diagnosed condition.

I've had a knee injury or surgery can I use it?

Speak to your doctor or physiotherapist before using any brace over a healing or previously operated joint.

Can I wear it all day?

It's designed for activity sessions rather than continuous all-day wear. Remove it if you notice numbness, tingling, colour change below the knee, or skin irritation.

      Will it help with arthritis?

We don't make claims about any medical condition. Some customers use it for comfort during activity; whether it's right for you is a conversation for your clinician.
